Grason-Stadler (GSI) is a world leader in audiometric assessment instrumentation and carries a full line of audiometers, tympanometers, otoacoustic emissions, and auditory evoked potential instruments.
With over 20 new enhancements such as pediatric noise, automatic speech functions and new symbols for special evaluations (tinnitus evaluations and cochlear implant testing), the GSI AudioStar Pro™ now offers the clinician, better productivity, better accuracy and better implementation of patient flow. Seamless PC integration with this two-channel clinical audiometer makes the AudioStar Pro the ideal choice for any environment.
The GSI TympStar Pro™ reinforces the legacy of excellence in middle-ear evaluation by maintaining the precise diagnostics, reliable mechanics and logical design that is synonymous with Grason-Stadler. The GSI TympStar Pro boasts an intuitive and flexible design that enables the user to move through a complete range of middle-ear testing for all patient populations.
The GSI Corti™ is a portable, battery-operated diagnostic and screening instrument that measures Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) in infants, children and adults. Offering the ability to rapidly screen newborns, the Corti meets recommended screening protocols and provides diagnostic OAE testing.
The GSI Audera Pro™ is the next generation of the highly acclaimed clinical evoked potential and OAE system, the GSI Audera. The Audera Pro offers a comprehensive battery of test types covering evoked potentials (EP) and otoacoustic emissions (OAEs). The Audera Pro comes with all of the great features of its predecessor but now offers a number of significant updates to support the needs of the modern audiology practice. The Audera Pro generates quick and efficient quality data, providing simple system operation, and utilizes convenient database management.
GSI AMTAS™, or Automated Method for Testing Auditory Sensitivity is a patient-directed evaluation tool that uses patented test methods and accuracy algorithms to perform diagnostic or screening audiometry. AMTAS Pro operates with a GSI AudioStar Pro™ or GSI Pello™ that is connected to a touch screen computer. This version offers diagnostic and screening testing for air and bone conduction with masking and speech SRT, WRS with masking. This test is self-paced and typically takes 15-20 minutes to complete and requires limited supervision. AMTAS Pro provides nine quality indicators and two reporting options.
AMTAS Flex™ is a stand-alone test that uses a tablet with no audiometer required. Flex offers screening and diagnostic air conduction audiometry. The screening test typically takes 1-2 minutes to complete. Diagnostic testing obtains pure tone thresholds in about 10-15 minutes. The diagnostic test provides up to six quality indicators and two reporting options.

Audiometric and tympanometric test results are combined into a single or multi-page report, improving and supporting the needs of the contemporary clinic.
A custom report designer satisfies the unique reporting needs of every facility. Counseling overlays assist the clinician with counseling patients about hearing loss results.
GSI CE-Chirp® software provides more convenience through compatibility with Microsoft Windows® 8.1 Pro operating system and an increased database capacity of 10 GB, meeting the clinical needs for every environment.
CE-Chirp software continues the tradition of offering exceptional features including CE-Chirp®. ABR testing using CE-Chirp and CE-Chirp Octave Bands alleviates typical clinical time pressures by eliciting Wave V faster and with nearly twice the amplitude of standard click and tone burst stimuli. With CE-Chirp, you will be successful on more patients faster, with fewer repeat test sessions and less need for sedation.
Grason-Stadler hosted a discussion between Dr. James W. Hall III and Dr. Robert Margolis about the current audiology landscape. They discussed the patient-provider gap that exists and the urgent need for a solution. In this transcribed excerpt of the interview, they address the importance of calibrated and validated hearing test results and how that affects automated testing.
